Latavius Murray Oak - RB
News: Murray (concussion) will not return to Thursday's game against the Chiefs. (Nov 20)
Impact: Murray made the most of his expanded role in the early going, with 112 yards and two scores on four carries, thanks in large part to a 90-yard touchdown. He quite clearly proved that he deserves to stay heavily involved in the offense, but he'll now need to make it through the NFL's concussion protocol before making another appearance. Once he's healthy, Murray should at least split the touches with Darren McFadden, who continues to underwhelm. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 10:09p ET)

News: Blount's signing with the Patriots has been confirmed, Tom Curran of CSN New England reports. (Nov 20)
Impact: Per Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, Blount will receive a two-year deal that is heavy on incentives, giving him the opportunity to earn his keep. Jonas Gray proved in Week 11 with a four touchdown, 200-yard performance that he should still serve as the "power," back but look for Blount to spell him on occasion, with Shane Vereen also coming into play on passing downs. Brandin Cooks NO - WR
News: The Saints placed Cooks (thumb) on injured reserve Tuesday, ESPN's Field Yates reports. (Nov 18)
Impact: Cooks could have returned to the Saints in late December, but Tuesday's decision means he will not play again this season. He will finish his injury-shortened rookie season with 53 receptions for 550 yards, seven rushes for 73 yards, and four touchdowns. He was a big part of the Saints' offense right out of the gate, and figures to again be a key contributor when he returns to action in 2015. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 5:34p ET)

Adrian Peterson Min - RB
News: Arbitrator Shyam Das has ruled that the NFL can keep Peterson on the Commissioner Exempt list for the time being, Tom Pelissero of USA Today reports. (Nov 18)
Impact: Peterson's camp and the NFLPA hoped an arbitrator would clear Peterson to play until the appeal of his season-long suspension was heard, but according to the arbitrator, they "failed to establish" that the NFL violated the CBA by placing Peterson on the Exempt list. The NFL can now keep Peterson on the Exempt list until it hears his appeal, and the league will have final say over whether or not he returns in 2014, which seems unlikely given the punishment that was levied Tuesday morning. Ben Tate Min - RB
News: Tate was waived by the Browns on Tuesday. (Nov 18)
Impact: Tate has become increasingly frustrated with his diminished role in Cleveland, and the team ultimately decided to move on and move forward with the combination of rookies Isiah Crowell and Terrance West. Tate averaged just 3.1 yards per carry in eight games with the Browns this season, but he has averaged 4.4 yards per run for his career and has 48 NFL games under his belt, so he figures to hook on with a team in need of running back help. Adrian Peterson Min - RB
News: The NFL announced Tuesday that Peterson has been suspended for the remainder of the 2014 season without pay for violating the league's personal-conduct policy, He will be ineligible for reinstatement until April 15, 2015. (Nov 18)
Impact: Peterson has three days to appeal the hearing, which is expected to be heard by a third-party arbitrator. With an appeal likely to come quickly, a final decision on Peterson's status for this season could be determined later this week. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 9:01a ET)

Ahmad Bradshaw Ind - RB
News: Bradshaw suffered a fractured fibula in Sunday's loss to the Patriots, Kevin Bowen of colts.com reports. (Nov 17)
Impact: While coach Chuck Pagano isn't sure if Bradshaw will go on IR, the running back is clearly out indefinitely, which sets the stage for Trent Richardson to see added action in the Colts' backfield in the coming weeks, along with Dan Herron. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 3:57p ET)

Brandin Cooks NO - WR
News: The New Orleans Times-Picayune relays that Cooks' agent indicates that the wideout should return from his broken thumb in about four-to-six weeks. (Nov 17)
Impact: Previous reports indicated a two-to-four week timetable, but this news suggests that a late-season return is a best-case scenario for the wideout. In his absence, Kenny Stills is a prime candidate to see added targets in the Saints' offense, working in tandem with fellow wideout Marques Colston and TE Jimmy Graham. Ahmad Bradshaw Ind - RB
News: Bradshaw is believed to have suffered a broken ankle in Sunday night's loss to the Patriots, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. (Nov 17)
Impact: Further tests are scheduled for Monday to determine if surgery is necessary, but it appears as though a lengthy absence is on tap. Trent Richardson figures to carry a much larger workload while Bradshaw is unavailable. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 9:30a ET)

Ahmad Bradshaw Ind - RB
News: Bradshaw (leg/ankle) had crutches and a protective boot on his injured left leg, after exiting Sunday's game against the Patriots to undergo X-rays, Mike Chappell of The Indianapolis Star reports. (Nov 17)
Impact: According to The Indianapolis Star's Chappell, Bradshaw seems likely to miss extended time. The Colts have yet to provide an update, following Bradshaw's exit at the beginning of the fourth quarter. While nothing should be assumed until more information is available, Bradshaw's injury history is rather discouraging. If he does end up missing extended time, Trent Richardson and Noah Herron would likely get more touches. Richardson, as inefficient as he's been, may again find himself as the lead back in a high-powered offense. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 12:27a ET)

Montee Ball Den - RB
News: Ball, who aggravated his groin injury Sunday against the Rams, has an MRI on tap Monday, Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports. (Nov 16)
Impact: Tight end Julius Thomas suffered an ankle injury Sunday and Emmanuel Sanders suffered a concussion in the game, but of the three, Klis speculates that Ball's injury may be the most serious. In a scenario where Ball is forced to miss additional time, C.J. Anderson would be in line to continue to head the Broncos' backfield, with Ronnie Hillman out with a foot injury. Arian Foster Hou - RB
News: Foster (groin) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Browns, Drew Dougherty of houstontexans.com reports. (Nov 15)
Impact: Foster was previously listed as questionable, and a number of reports indicated that he was unlikely to play. Now that the veteran running back has officially been ruled out, Alfred Blue is expected to lead the Houston backfield, with Jonathan Grimes in a supporting role. Foster will hope to return for Week 12 against the Bengals. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 12:46p ET)

Arian Foster Hou - RB
News: Though coach Bill O'Brien indicated Friday that Foster (groin) is a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Browns, ESPN's Tania Ganguli suggests that it's doubtful that the running back -- who the Texans will list as questionable -- will play in the contest. (Nov 14)
Impact: That's a notion echoed by John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, and while Foster's official questionable designation suggests that there's some chance he could give it a go Sunday, such an outcome does not appear to be a high-percentage scenario at this stage. If Foster is forced to sit out Sunday's contest, Alfred Blue would be in line to head the Texans' Week 11 backfield. In any case, we'll continue to monitor the status of Foster as Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff approaches. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 3:10p ET)

Fred Jackson Buf - RB
News: Jackson (groin) is inactive for Thursday's game against the Dolphins. (Nov 13)

News: Jennings (knee) will be limited at Wednesday's practice, but head coach Tom Coughlin believes he is "ready to go" for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Ebenezer Samuel of the New York Daily News reports. (Nov 12)
Impact: Jennings will have to make it through practice this week before officially being declared ready to play, but Coughlin is planning on having Jennings available Sunday, and fantasy owners should do the same. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 11:25a ET)

Austin Davis StL - QB
News: Head coach Jeff Fisher announced Wednesday that Shaun Hill will start Sunday against the Broncos in Davis' place, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. (Nov 12)
Impact: It was reported Tuesday that Davis would hold onto his job despite a rough couple games, but Fisher apparently changed his mind, and will go with Hill this week instead. Davis could reclaim the starter's job at some point later this season, but for now, consider him the Rams' backup. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 11:13a ET)

Shaun Hill StL - QB
News: Hill will start Sunday's game against the Broncos in place of Austin Davis, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. (Nov 12)
Impact: It was reported Tuesday that Davis would remain the Rams' starter, but head coach Jeff Fisher changed course, and will go with Hill this week instead. Hill has not started a game since Week 1, but Fisher is hopeful that he will give the Rams a better chance to win this week in a tough environment facing the league's top run defense. Carson Palmer Ari - QB
News: The Cardinals have confirmed that Palmer suffered a torn ACL on Sunday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. (Nov 10)
Impact: Palmer is thus slated to be placed on season-ending injured reserve, with Drew Stanton, who took over for Palmer after he was injured on Sunday, on track to start at QB for the Cardinals going forward. In terms of Palmer's long-term prospects, Darren Urban of azcardinals.com notes that the damage in Palmer's knee was confined to the ACL, so while the veteran QB clearly has a long recovery ahead of him, he'll presumably have a chance to re-enter the team's starting equation in advance of the 2015 season. Brandon Marshall Chi - WR
News: Marshall left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter with a left ankle injury, and he will not return to the contest. (Nov 9)
Impact: Marshall had a big game in the blowout loss, catching eight passes for 112 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets. He limped off the field in the fourth quarter and was ruled out shortly thereafter. The injury occurred long after the Bears had any chance of winning, but it at least isn't to the same right ankle that bothered Marshall earlier this season. If Marshall is unable to play against the Vikings next Sunday, Santonio Holmes and Josh Morgan will likely both play more snaps. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 11:45p ET)

Carson Palmer Ari - QB
News: Palmer is feared to have torn his ACL in Sunday's game against the Rams, according to both NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Fox Sports 910's Mike Jurecki. (Nov 9)
Impact: Palmer is slated to undergo tests to confirm the nature of his injury, but for now, coach Bruce Arians indicated that the Cardinals won't know the QB's status going forward until he undergoes an MRI, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports. In any case, Drew Stanton, who took over for Palmer on Sunday, appears to be in line for another stint as the Cardinals' starting signal-caller. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 7:54p ET)

Marshawn Lynch Sea - RB
News: Lynch (calf) is probable for Sunday's game against the Giants. (Nov 7)
Impact: Lynch missed two days of practice this week, but he practiced fully Friday and is locked into the starting lineup for Sunday, so his calf issue was evidently alleviated by a couple days of rest. Lynch is a strong on-paper RB1 against a Giants defense allowing 4.4 yards per carry. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 5:53p ET)

Tony Romo Dal - QB
News: Romo (back) is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, NFL.com reports. (Nov 7)
Impact: Romo's status has been in question all week, but he is set to return to action Sunday after getting in a limited practice Thursday and a full practice Friday. Barring any setbacks, Romo will square off against a Jaguars defense that ranks 25th in the NFL against the pass. (Source: RotoWire / Time: 10:56a ET)

Marshawn Lynch Sea - RB
News: Lynch didn't practice Thursday due to a calf injury. (Nov 6)
Impact: After posting his typical absence without a reported ailment Wednesday, Lynch didn't participate in drills for a second day in a row Thursday, only this time with an injury in tow. The severity of said malady is unclear, but he's noted for gutting out anything placed in his path, meaning the release of Friday's injury report will be particularly anticipated. If he suits up Sunday, a splendid matchup awaits against a Giants defense that has allowed 166 total yards per game and seven touchdowns to running backs across eight contests this season. Andrew Hawkins Cle - WR
News: Hawkins (thigh/knee) is inactive for Thursday's game against the Bengals, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. (Nov 6)

Josh McCown TB - QB
News: Coach Lovie Smith confirmed Wednesday that McCown will replace Mike Glennon as the starting quarterback Sunday against the Falcons, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. (Nov 5)
Impact: McCown suffered a sprained thumb in Week 3, which precipitated three games with inactive status. However, he's been available to play the past two outings, and Smith has deemed that a change under center is required, despite Glennon's fair performance in McCown's stead (10 touchdowns versus six interceptions). McCown is a decent candidate to succeed Sunday against a Falcons defense that has surrendered 291 passing yards per game and seven touchdown throws over the last four contests.
