No, the game is free to play.

Is there an app?
Unfortunately FOX Bracket Challenge currently does not have an app. However, our new design allows Mobile and Tablet users to easily manage their brackets from any browser.

BRACKETS

How do I update my bracket name?
You can change your entry name from the Manage Brackets page.
How do I create a bracket?
After signing in with FoxSports.com, get started playing Bracket Challenge by clicking the "Create Bracket" button on the game’s home page. Or, if you've received an invite from a friend, click the link in the email.
How do I pick the winners for the Round 1 (play-in) games?
Round 1 games do not factor into contest scoring. No pick is required for these games.
How do I remove a bracket?
You may remove an bracket from the Manage Brackets page. Group owners may not remove an entry unless the group is first removed.
How many brackets can I create?
You may create up to 10 brackets.
I've filled out my bracket, why is the progress bar not complete?
Commonly overlooked steps in completing a bracket include forgetting to pick a champion and not setting the tie breaker points.

GROUPS

Can I control which group members can post on the group message board?
Yes, you can specify this setting for each member of your group from the Edit Group Members page, found within the Group Owner Tools page.
Can I control which group members can send invitations?
Yes, you can specify this setting for each member of your group from the Edit Group Members page, found within the Group Owner Tools page.
Can I limit the number of brackets a user may have in my group?
Yes, the group owner may specify the maximum number of brackets per user from the Group Settings page.
How can I create a group?
You may create a group by clicking the “Create Group” menu item within the Groups section of the game.
How can I remove a user from my group?
If you are the group manager, you may use the Edit Group Members page to remove an owner.
How do I change my group description?
Group Description and other group settings can be updated from the Group Settings page, found under the Owner Tools page.
How do I change my group logo?
Group Logo and other group settings can be updated from the Group Settings page, found under the Owner Tools page.
How do I change my group’s password?
Group Passwords can be updated from the Group Settings page.
How do I delete a group?
Group Managers may delete a group by going to the Owner Tools page and selecting Delete Group. Note: deleting a group will remove all group members from the group but will not delete the group member’s entries. Group Managers may not delete a group after an entry in the group or the group has been scored.
How do I invite friends to my group?
Invite friends by clicking the Invite Friends link from any group page. Invite friends using email, Facebook or Twitter.
How do I join a group?
You may join a group two ways:
  1. If a group member has sent you an email invitation, you can click the join link within the email. This link will automatically load the registration or join page with the pertinent group information. All you have to do is enter the password which should be contained in the email. If it’s a public group, no password is required.
  2. Search and find a group using the Find Group page within the Groups section of the game. Use the Group Filters to pick the group that best fits your desired game experience. Click the name of the group to join. Private groups may require a password.
How do I leave a group?
Visit the Manage Brackets page and click the "Leave Group" button. You may not leave a group once your entry has been scored, however.
How do Private and Public groups differ?
Public groups do not contain a password and can be joined by anyone (unless the owner has locked the group). Private groups require a password to restrict access.
What does is mean when my group is "locked"?
Group Managers may turn a group's status to "Locked" to prevent any new group members from joining. This can be done from the Group Settings page.

SCORING

How do I score points?
Participants earn points based on correct selections. Points are weighted based on round as follows (192 maximum total points possible):

How does the 'Bonus Points for Seed Difference' scoring option work?
You will receive X bonus points per difference in seed for a correctly picked upset. For example, if a #3 seed upsets a #1 seed and the group is set to receive 5 points per seed difference, you would receive 10 bonus points (2 seed difference x 5 points).
