Feliciano agreed to a minor league deal with the Cardinals on Sunday, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
The 37-year-old was able to complete his long road back from shoulder surgery to reach the majors late last season with the Mets, marking his first appearance in the big leagues since 2010. With his velocity sitting in the mid-80s for most of 2013, Feliciano received tepid interest in free agency, but he'll try to keep his career alive as a member of the Cardinals organization. Feliciano will report to Triple-A Memphis and could eventually receive the call to the major league bullpen if his performance warrants a promotion.
