Bundy (elbow) strained a lat muscle while running in the outfield and will head to 7-day DL at High-A Frederick, MASNsports.com's Steve Melewski reports.
Orioles GM Dan Duquette said that while the strain shouldn't take long to recover from, Bundy might not pitch again this season with the minor league campaign winding down in two weeks. While it's good news that Bundy didn't suffer any sort of setback with his elbow, he could desperately use some innings after being limited to nine starts over in the minors over the past two seasons. He wasn't especially effective in his six turns with Frederick while rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, posting a 4.78 ERA and 15:13 K:BB ratio over 26.1 innings.
