Matz continued his roll in Double-A on Wednesday, allowing two runs in seven innings to pick up the win.
Matz struggled a bit in his first start at this level, but has allowed three or fewer runs in each of his last five starts for the B-Mets. Overall, he has a 2.75 ERA and 1.11 WHIP with a 33:8 K:BB in six outings. Look for Matz to complete the year at Double-A, but start 2015 at Triple-A Las Vegas and push for a promotion to the majors during the season.
