Belisario was bombed for three runs on a hit and two walks while failing to record an out in the seventh inning of Sunday's loss to the Twins, picking up his seventh defeat of the season as a result.
He seemed to come unhinged after the umpire asked him to remove his bracelet and wipe off rosin on his sleeve, allowing three consecutive batters to reach base. Though Belisario has generally pitched better since his removal as closer, manager Robin Ventura isn't considering returning him to the role. Jacob Petricka looks like the team's top ninth-inning option for the time being.
