Hundley's 2015 club option was declined by the Orioles on Saturday.
Hundley would have made $5 million if the Orioles decided to pick up his option, but the team chose to move on instead. The 31-year-old catcher hit .243/.273/358 with six home runs and 22 RBI over 218 at-bats last season between the Padres and the Orioles, and will now be able to shop his services around the league in the offseason. The Orioles are also reportedly interested in re-signing him at a lower rate, but the team also has both Caleb Joseph and Steve Clevenger as options at backup catcher.
