Teagarden (hamstring) was activated from the disabled list, cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.
The Mets are satisfied with Anthony Recker as their No. 2 catcher behind Travis d'Arnaud, so Teagarden will stick around at Las Vegas until an injury opens the door for his promotion. He'll likely see only spot duty behind prospect Kevin Plawecki at Las Vegas.
