Bailey gave up three earned runs on four hits and two walks with three strikeouts in six innings Tuesday against the Brewers.
Bailey had to prove over the weekend that he was fit enough to pitch Tuesday after leaving his last start early with a knee strain. The only thing that he struggled with against the Brewers was keeping the ball in the ballpark. Three of the four hits he surrendered were solo home runs. It's not that often that someone gives up three runs and still qualifies for a quality start, but that's what Bailey did Tuesday. He'll face a less potent lineup in his next start Monday against the Diamondbacks.
