Granderson hit his first home run in nearly two weeks Saturday against the Braves.
Granderson now has 19 home runs and 62 runs batted in along with a .223 batting average. Those numbers are not what the Mets expected when they gave him a four-year, $60 million deal this offseason. Granderson has shown signs of life in September, going 18-for-62 with three home runs and 13 runs batted in. If he can stay hot the next week, it will send him into the offseason on a high note, despite the overall poor numbers.
