Martinez has re-signed with the Tigers on a four-year, $68 million deal, Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports.
Martinez had a career year in 2014, hitting 32 homers to go along with 103 RBI. The MVP finalist slashed .335/.409/.565 with a career-best 188 hits. He'll be 36 by the time the 2015 season starts, but after having the best season of his career, another strong campaign seems likely, even if it's not quite as good as his 2014.
