Johan Franzen had a good post-Olympic break return.

Not only was Franzen able to play after missing 22 of 23 games due to a concussion, he had three goals and two assists in two games.

After that offensive outburst, the NHL named Franzen its first star of the week ending March 2.

Franzen assisted on both goals in the 2-1 overtime victory over the Montreal Canadiens Feb. 26.

He then scored his sixth career hat trick, including the game-winner, in a 6-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators Feb. 27.

Franzen is fifth on the Wings in scoring with 12 goals and 16 assists in 33 games.

New Jersey center Adam Henrique was the league's second star and Minnesota goaltender Darcy Kuemper the third star.
