Defensive end Ezekiel "Ziggy" Ansah and receivers Golden Tate and TJ Jones are expected to begin training camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.

All three players have been rehabbing shoulder injuries during the offseason. They can be taken off PUP at any time when they're ready to practice.

Ansah is entering his second season with the Lions after being taken with the fifth pick overall in last year's draft. He missed all of the team's offseason practices following surgery last winter.

Tate was signed this offseason as an unrestricted free agent while Jones was drafted in the sixth round. They both missed the team's mandatory mini-camp last month following surgery.

The Lions open camp on Monday. The regular-season opener is September 8 against the New York Giants.
