Suh models new World Cup jersey

Nike reelased photos Tuesday of Suh, with an American flag draped across his shoulders, donned in one of the road jerseys that will be worn this summer in Brazil.

He’s widely known as the "dirtiest" and "most-disliked" player in the NFL. He’s appeared in Nike commercials, a reality TV dating show and even a celebrity diving contest.

Now, Ndamukong Suh, the All-Pro defensive tackle for the Detroit Lions, has become a model for the USA national soccer team’s new World Cup jerseys.

Nike released photos Tuesday of Suh, with an American flag draped across his shoulders, donned in one of the road jerseys that will be worn this summer in Brazil.

Suh, whose father is from Cameroon and mother from Jamaica, grew up playing soccer and remains an avid fan of the sport.

If he hadn’t gotten so big (6-foot-4, 307 pounds), who knows? Maybe Suh, the freakish athlete that he is, would be playing in the World Cup.
