Poll question: Yankees or Orioles?

The important piece is already in place.

Justin Verlander and the Detroit Tigers got it done in Oakland on Thursday, sealing a spot in the American League Championship Series for a second consecutive season.

Whom the Tigers will play in the ALCS and whether or not the series opens at Comerica Park remain in the balance.

The New York Yankees and Baltimore Orioles will play a decisive Game 5 in their AL Division Series today (5 p.m. ET) at Yankee Stadium.

If the Yankees win, they get home-field advantage in the ALCS and will play host to Game 1 on Saturday.

If the wild-card Orioles win, the Tigers are the home team in Game 1.

The Tigers went 4-6 against the Yankees this season, but beat them in the ALDS last season and in 2006.

The Tigers and Orioles split their season series, 3-3.

All that said, which team do you want the Tigers to face next?
