Eaves left the game with an upper-body injury and didn’t return.

Wings general manager Ken Holland said Eaves didn’t have anything broken, but they would wait to see how he felt.

After a hearing Friday, the NHL fined Lupul $10,000, the maximum allowed under the collective bargaining agreement.

In other Wings’ news, the team recalled defenseman Alexey Marchenko from the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Defenseman Danny DeKeyser has a groin injury.

Marchenko, who turned 22 Thursday, was the Wings’ seventh-round draft pick in 2011. He has two goals and 14 assists in 33 games.
