Just call him Broadway Joique.

Joique Bell, a running back for the Detroit Lions, is going to New York next week to take part in the festivities leading up to the Super Bowl.

He has a small role as a bartender in Wednesday night’s performance of the 1980’s rock ‘n’ roll musical "Rock of Ages," which will be playing at the Helen Hayes Theatre, according to Broadway.com.

Green Bay Packers receiver Randall Cobb, retired running back Ahman Green and possibly other NFL players will play the same part that Bell is playing in other Broadway performances next week of the popular show.

Bell has emerged as a versatile complement to Reggie Bush in the Lions’ backfield despite not getting drafted coming out of Wayne State University in Detroit in 2010.
