Khawaja back with century in T20 match, test recall likely

MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) Australia batsman Usman Khawaja's left hamstring and his scoring touch were in fine form on Sunday in a Twenty20 match, making him almost a certainty to be recalled for test duty against the West Indies next weekend.

Khawaja, who missed two test matches due to the injury, was 109 not out off 70 balls for the Sydney Thunder in their T20 match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, where Australia will host the Caribbean side in the Boxing Day test.

His innings included 12 fours and three sixes.

Shaun Marsh, who scored 182 runs in Australia's innings and 212-run win in the first test, and was part of a record 449-run, fourth-wicket partnership with Adam Voges, could be the player dropped if Khawaja returns.
