NEW DELHI (AP) England smashed 72 runs from its last five overs to finish on a competitive 171-4 against Sri Lanka in their World Twenty20 Group 1 game on Saturday.
Jos Buttler did most of the damage for England with 66 not out, along with Jason Roy (42).
Buttler struck eight fours and two sixes off 37 balls in his fourth T20 international half-century. He added 74 runs for the key fourth wicket with captain Eoin Morgan (22) as England recovered from 99-3 in 15 overs.
