LSU coach’s sister dies in car accident

LSU head football coach Les Miles was mourning on Saturday the
death of his sister, who was killed in a car accident near Baton
Rouge, La., local newspaper The Advocate reported.

Authorities said Ann Browne, 54, was struck on the driver’s side
of her Nissan Sentra early Friday afternoon by a Dodge Ram truck
carrying two adults and four children.

She was hit while attempting to join highway traffic from a
subdivision in Addis, around 10 miles southwest of Baton Rouge.

Browne, of Zachary, La., died at the scene, the West Baton Rouge
Parish Coroner’s Office confirmed.

None of the six in the truck was injured in the collision.
