Report: Georgia under NCAA 'inquiry'
Add Georgia to the list of big-time athletic programs under the NCAA microscope.
The NCAA on Wednesday told Georgia it will be conducting an “inquiry,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
The school’s associate athletic director confirmed the NCAA inquiry to the newspaper. However, Claude Felton told the Journal-Constitution he was instructed not to comment further.
North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Alabama are under NCAA investigation for contact between athletes and agents.
