Baylor Bears

Washington Huskies

5-0 - 1/10
The Crimson Tide had a walkover this past week with Georgia State, and now they head to Lexington to take on a Kentucky team that battled South Carolina in Week 6.

5-0 - 2/16
Excellent win (and some good fortune) at home outlasting Washington. The Cardinal go on the road at ticked off Utah, who gave UCLA all it had last Thursday night.

5-0 - 2/15
I’m looking forward to seeing the Ducks’ lightning strikes in person this week when they visit No. 17 Washington (No. 16 in AP poll) in Seattle.

6-0 - 2/11
The Buckeyes earned a hard-fought, come-from-behind win at No. 19 Northwestern, showing their toughness and grit. Are there any tests left before Michigan in the final week of the regular season?

5-0 - 4/15
The Tigers made pulp out of Syracuse on the road last week, so score one for "Clemson Orange." Now there’s one more game -- against Boston College – to win before Florida State comes to town.

4-1 - 5/36
Whew! QB Aaron Murray's "weapons" kept getting hurt, but he wouldn't let the Bulldogs lose in OT at a now frustrated Tennessee last week. Missouri is up next.

5-0 - 4/20
In beating TCU, the Sooners got a better win than they will get credit for. The defense stepped up in a big way, and now it’s off to Dallas for the rivalry game with Texas.

5-0 - 5/21
Louisville finally gets a test with Rutgers on Thursday night, and QB Teddy Bridgewater gets the shiny lights on him for all to see -- and enjoy.

The Aggies had a refreshing pause this week before a big road game in Week 7 against formerly ranked Ole Miss.

4-0 - 6/22
These Bruins will battle! QB Brett Hundley threw for a TD, ran for a TD and caught a TD pass in the tough win at Utah. Cal is next up.

5-1 - 7/23
The Tigers showed their moxie by winning at Mississippi State after the difficult loss at Georgia. They get the Florida Gators at home this week.

5-0 1 1/17
FSU and QB Jameis Winston jumped a formerly ranked Maryland team. Now the Seminoles get a week off before they trek to Clemson for the showdown.

4-1 1 5/26
Everyone will talk about Jadeveon Clowney not playing, but I liked the way the Ol' Ball Coach handled it in his postgame press conference. After beating Kentucky last week, South Carolina goes to Arkansas this week.

5-0 - 7/30
Remember when people feared Georgia Tech's offense? Now, the fear is back when you face Miami. RB Duke Johnson is a player.

4-0 3 3/28
As the Bears play more Big 12 games, I expect their ranking to shoot up -- especially if they keep dropping 70 points on teams.

5-0 - 9/32
A very good win for the Wolverines over Minnesota. TE Devin Funchess had quite the day, and Michigan wants that to continue at Penn State.

4-1 2 15/37
A disputed ending in a very, very tough loss at Stanford, but now is no time to mope, Huskies. The hated Oregon Ducks will be in town Saturday.

4-1 1 10/37
The Gators were averaging 39 minutes per game of possession. They used it well in beating Arkansas and will need it on the road at LSU.

4-1 2 17/38
I hate dropping this team after such a tough loss at home to Ohio State. Now the Wildcats hit the road to "man up" against Wisconsin's running attack.

5-0 - 14/26
The Bulldogs are in full control in the Mountain West right now. QB Derek Carr is playing at a very high level.

5-0 - 10/31
The potentially serious injury to QB Baker Mayfield put a damper on the decisive win at Kansas. An angry Iowa State heads to Lubbock this week.

5-0 - 16/27
The Huskies got a very good win over Kent State. QB Jordan Lynch is the perfect combination of talent and leadership.

4-2 3 8/29
Big, big win for Notre Dame in a neutral-site game over talented Arizona State. QB Tommy Rees is a mentally tough young man.

0-0 - 2/28
The win over Washington State is looking better, and the Tigers just knocked Ole Miss out of the top 25. The Tigers have Western Carolina this week before heading to Texas A&M.

4-1 2 5/28
The Cowboys beat Kansas State, and it wasn't easy at all. This open week comes at an excellent time .
