Oklahoma State Cowboys

UCLA Bruins

8-0 - 1/10
The Crimson Tide won their seventh straight game against Tennessee and are potentially the last hope in the SEC’s quest for another national title. Open this week.

Yes, the lads from Tallahassee have long memories and paid back NC State for last season’s loss. A showdown with Miami is next up on Saturday.

7-0 - 3/28
The Bears piled up 500 yards and led 38-0 in the first half at Kansas. They’re open this week before things get serious when Oklahoma visits on Nov. 7.

Pounded Penn State, and now this team appears to be peaking. The Buckeyes are at traditionally dangerous Purdue this week.

7-1 - 2/16
Tough assignment on the road at ranked Oregon State, and the Cardinal handled with aplomb and defense. Open this week before playing Oregon on Nov. 7.

The pressure appeared off after the NCAA ruling came down last week, and the Canes nearly relaxed too much against Wake Forest. They head to Florida State this week.

7-1 3 4/20
The Big 12 title is very much up for grabs, and if QB Blake Bell continues to play as he did against Texas Tech, the Sooners could win it. Open this week before heading to Baylor.

7-1 3 2/28
The Tigers are the SEC's darkhorse challenger for the national title. They’re at Arkansas on Saturday. Will QB Nick Marshall play? He left the FAU game with an injured shoulder.

7-1 3 4/15
An expected hangover from the Florida State loss showed up against Maryland, but WR Sammy Watkins was awake with a school-record 14 catches. At Virginia next.

Just as the nation "discovered" Mizzou, South Carolina beat the Tigers in two overtimes. The SEC East title is still theirs to lose. Tennessee visits this Saturday.

7-0 - 14/26
I told a San Diego radio station that Fresno State would beat San Diego State by 25. It took OT for the Bulldogs to win … by a lot less than 25.

6-1 - 5/33
The Knights dropped 62 on UConn. Now a week of rest and then a huge AAC game against Houston on Nov. 9. QB Blake Bortles continues to climb on NFL scouts’ lists.

Did you really doubt that Johnny Manziel would play at Vanderbilt on Saturday (shoulder injury vs. Auburn)? No, you didn't, and he played very well. UTEP at home is next.

5-2 8 6/22
In the last two weeks, the Bruins lost at Stanford and at Oregon. They’re still in good shape to compete for Pac-12 South title and should get right against Colorado this week.

QB Connor Shaw returned from injury for the second time this year to rally the Gamecocks over SEC East frontrunner Missouri. They get Mississippi State at home this week.

It’s hard to move up in the polls by beating MAC teams, but that's all NIU can do. QB Jordan Lynch had six TD's against Eastern Michigan.
