CFB 24 700 Week 13 college football upsets to watch 22232009 No. 19 Nevada over No. 3 Boise State No.+19+Nevada+over+No.+3+Boise+State CFB

Most doubters of Boise State's legitimacy as a national title contender harp on the Broncos' easy schedule, filled with mostly weak WAC teams and nonconference cream puffs. But Nevada is a serious threat to Boise State (10-0) and for good reason. QB Colin Kaepernick (pictured) has accounted for 3,393 yards of total offense and 35 touchdowns as the Wolf Pack have marched to a 10-1 record. Nevada also has the advantage of getting Boise State away from its Blue Turf, where the Broncos are 76–2 since the 1999 season. Watch for Nevada to score early and hold off Kellen Moore's comeback attempts. – PETE STELLA

Since the top-three ranked teams in the BCS all play on "Black Friday," I’m going to go out on a limb and pick all three to go down. Last time we saw Oregon, the Ducks (10-0) limped out of Berkeley with a very close win over Cal – which some said exposed Oregon as a team that's not as invincible as previously thought. Facing an angry Arizona team (7-3) that has lost two straight, the Ducks will still be fighting through their post-Cal and bye-week hangovers while looking ahead to Oregon State and the Civil War on Dec. 3. Oregon will get its points, but Arizona's defense forces a late turnover to seal the victory. – PETE STELLA

CFB 24 700 Week 13 college football upsets to watch 22232007 No. 12 Arkansas over No. 6 LSU No.+12+Arkansas+over+No.+6+LSU CFB

It has been a season of close calls for LSU, and yet the Tigers sit at 10-1 with an outside shot at the national title game. But on the road against Arkansas (9-2), LSU’s luck will finally run out. QB Ryan Mallett (pictured) has passed for 3,272 yards and 27 touchdowns this season and is eagerly awaiting a shot at Patrick Peterson and the Tigers' secondary. And with the solid play of RB Knile Davis (1,031 yards rushing, 12 scores), LSU will have to prepare for the run as well as dealing with Mallett's rocket arm. While this game will be close, I see Mallett having a big afternoon and an upset that will have LSU coach Les Miles eating an entire field of grass. – PETE STELLA

CFB 24 700 Week 13 college football upsets to watch 22232010 No. 14 Oklahoma State over No. 10 Oklahoma No.+14+Oklahoma+State+over+No.+10+Oklahoma CFB

Get ready for a shootout – with a potential berth in the Big 12 championship game on the line. For only the fourth time in this series, Oklahoma State (10-1) enters as the higher-ranked team. But Oklahoma has won 80 of the 104 matchups, and look for that number to increase to 81. The Sooners (9-2) have taken their share of lumps this season but are on a two-game winning streak behind the strong arm of QB Landry Jones (pictured). The Cowboys are loaded at the offensive skill positions. Strap those helmets on tight for this rivalry game. I like the Sooners by a touchdown. – PETE STELLA
