Larranaga gets down after UM's win
Dancing must be contagious for college basketball teams during the Big Dance.
First there were Wichita State and Marquette coach Buzz Williams getting their boogie on after big wins on Saturday. Then this year’s ultimate Cinderella, Florida Gulf Coast, breathed some life into the Chicken Dance.
Finally, Miami coach Jim Larranaga put on his dancing shoes after the Hurricanes’ 63-59 win over Illinois to earn a spot in the Sweet 16. The 63-year-old coach, who gave a shoutout to The Greatest, was so overcome with emotion (or something else) that he broke out his best footwork for his players to see.
Now that Larranaga has shown what he’s got, he has to expect someone to challenge him to a danceoff. Cue LSU football coach Les Miles.
I see that Miami coach Jim Larranaga likes to dance... but can he top this youtube.com/watch?v=GHkKjo…— Les Miles (@LSUCoachMiles) March 25, 2013
