Four Hofstra University basketball players are accused of burglarizing campus dorm rooms.
Nassau County police are identifying them as Kentrell Washington of Las Vegas; Jimmy Hall of Brooklyn; Dallas Anglin of Montclair, N.J.; and Shaquille Stokes of Manhattan. Police say the four face arraignment Friday in district court.
Police say cash, computers and other items were taken in six burglaries between Oct. 4 and Nov. 5.
In a statement, Hofstra says the four men's basketball team members have been suspended from the university pending the outcome of the case. The statement says Hofstra's Department of Public Safety cooperated with Nassau police.
It is not known if any of the defendants have attorneys.
Hall is the team's No. 2 scorer. He and Stokes started in six of the team's seven games this season.
