Julian Mavunga scored on a layup with 2 seconds left to send Miami (Ohio) to a come-from-behind 68-66 victory over Toledo on Saturday night.
Mavunga's layup was the last of nine straight points for the RedHawks (13-12, 8-3 Mid-American Conference), who trailed 66-59 with 3:07 left.
Nick Winbush, who finished with 16 points, started the comeback with a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to 66-62 with 2:49 to play. Allen Roberts followed with consecutive layups to tie the score at 66 with 47 seconds left.
Toledo's Malcolm Griffin turned the ball over, and after Roberts missed a jumper, Mavunga, who had 13 points, hit the game-winner.
Roberts scored 14 and Josh Sewell added 10 points for Miami, which has won four straight.
