LINCOLN, Neb. (AP)
Nebraska basketball player Mike Peltz will undergo season-ending surgery on his left knee.
Coach Tim Miles said Friday that the typical rehab schedule is three to four months.
The 6-foot-2 junior guard from Alliance has played in 14 of the Huskers' first 16 games. He has averaged 2.1 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.1 points per game.
Miles also said Brandon Ubel will be out for Sunday's game against No. 22 Michigan State. Ubel suffered an elbow injury in the final minutes of Wednesday's loss at No. 2 Michigan. The 6-foot-10 senior is Nebraska's leading rebounder at 6.8 rebounds per game and third-leading scorer at 12.1 points per game.
