Hoyas' Wright breaks hand during loss
Georgetown coach John Thompson III confirmed that Wright broke his non-shooting hand early in the second half while diving for a loose ball.
Thompson told reporters there is no timetable for his return, but it would be difficult to imagine Wright being back unless the Hoyas advance deep in the NCAA tournament.
"He’s most likely done for the season,” one source said. "Six weeks.”
Wright was averaging 13.6 points and 5.5 assists per game this season.
He had just two points in the home loss to Cincinnati when he left the game with 15:54 remaining.
The Hoyas are 21-7 overall and 10-6 in Big East play.
