‘What have I done?!’ Young Auburn fan apologizes for swiping Gus Malzahn’s visor

The young Auburn fan who swiped the visor of head coach Gus Malzahn amid the on-field, postgame fray after the Tigers’€™ Iron Bowl win on Saturday has apparently come clean and offered to return the pilfered hat.

In a letter to Malzahn courtesy of The War Eagle Reader, 15-year-old Hayden wrote the following:

Hayden added in a separate note to the Reader: "Anyway, tell coach Gus that he can definitely have his visor back and I’m sorry for taking it, especially in such a rude way. Long live the Tigers and War Eagle!!!"

He clearly didn’€™t want to mess with any good luck the visor could potentially bring in Auburn’€™s matchup with Missouri in the SEC title game Saturday.
