Ohio State is one blocked field-goal attempt away from a perfect season.

Tyler Durbin's try against Penn State was returned for a game-winning touchdown, handing the Buckeyes their only blemish.

If Urban Meyer decides he wants some competition for the walk-on, he needs to look no further than the school's famed marching band.

Per Elevenwarriors.com:

Following indoor band practice at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center Tuesday, Austin Brizee, a second-year trumpet player, drilled a 55-yard field goal.

Brizee, who is from Lyndhurst, near Cleveland, tells Eleven Warriors that he's never kicked before, but he did grow up playing soccer and other sports.

Finding a kicker in an unusual manner wouldn't be a rarity for Meyer.

Duban was a soccer player from Virginia who played two years at James Madison before transferring to Ohio State in January of 2015. His first day of classes at Ohio State was the day the Buckeyes beat Oregon in the National Championship.
