Southern Miss, Marshall create epic blooper reel play

Domino effect: One blooper leads to another -- and another -- in this crazy play

Southern Mississippi and Marshall create an epic blooper reel from just one single play.

There are often blooper moments in at least a couple football games weekly, but how often are there a whole weekend worth of bloopers in just one single play?

It all started with what should have been a great play with the Southern Mississippi defender knocking the ball loose from the Marshall quarterback, unfortunately for the Golden Eagles, all hell broke loose instead.

After all the falls and drops, the Golden Eagles can't even capitalize on the fumble with the ball appearing to have been recovered by a Marshall lineman.

It has just been one of those years for Southern Mississippi as it is currently struggling through a 20-game losing streak after dropping this game on Saturday to Marshall, tying the Golden Eagles for the 14th-longest losing streak in FBS history.
