After rushing for an Oregon single-season record of 1,836 yards in 2015, running back Royce Freeman could be a Heisman Trophy candidate in 2016.

Freeman will be a junior in 2016 and will once again be the focus of the Ducks offense. According to odds listed by Bovada, Freeman is listed at 12/1 to win college football’s most coveted trophy.

Freeman’s current odds are tied for sixth best in the country, only trailing Clemson’s Deshaun Watson, LSU’s Leonard Fournette, Stanford’s Christian McCaffrey, Ohio State’s J.T. Barrett and Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield.

The Oregon running back has rushed for 3,201 yards in his first two seasons in Eugene.
