How to watch Saturday's Ohio State-Oklahoma game in virtual reality

Published Nov. 15, 2016 3:39 p.m. ET

No. 3 Ohio State takes on No. 14 Oklahoma this Saturday in one of the biggest games of the entire college football season. If you're a standard TV sort of sports fan, you can watch it on FOX starting at 7:30 p.m. ET.

If you're looking for something to add even more to the viewing experience, how about watching the game in virtual reality? FOX Sports has teamed up with LiveLike to give fans the chance to watch the game in virtual reality, without the use of special equipment. From the FOX Sports PR release:

All you need to do is download the free FOX Sports VR app. It is currently available on Google Play for Android, iTunes for iOS, and will be ready very soon this week in the Oculus Store and Samsung's Milk VR store. More info at foxsports.com/mobile.

It's a huge event in broadcasting for a game with huge stakes. The Buckeyes are 2-0 after a pair of warm-up games against cupcakes and figure to be in the playoff conversation all year long. Things aren't as rosy for the Sooners, who lost to Houston in their season opener. If Oklahoma were to lose a second game in the first three weeks, it would need to trample everyone in the Big 12 season in order to even have a prayer of seeing the playoff.
