Nate Dogg’s son raps at recruit event

You might have heard that Nate Dogg’s son, Naijiel Hale, committed to play cornerback at Arizona. But did you know the four-star recruit can also rap?

Naijiel grabbed the FOX Sports NEXT mic last week to drop a few bars while Cal commit Jaleel Wood and five-star running back Joe Mixon laid down the beat.

The players were together at The Opening, an elite summer recruiting event in Oregon.

Yep, it looks like the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree. While Hale does not have his father’s distinctive voice that made Mr. Dogg one of the most iconic rapper-singers of all time, the future Wildcat has some serious flow of his own.

What do you think about Hale’s performance?

( h/t to Lindsey Thiry of FOX Sports NEXT for getting the footage!)
