Alabama junior running back Kenyan Drake was arrested early Saturday and charged with obstructing government operations.
The charge, a misdemeanor, came after Drake ignored orders to stay outside a crime scene, Tuscaloosa (Ala.) Police Spokesman Brent Blankley told AL.com.
"He was trying to cross a crime scene," Blankley told AL.com. "We had a shooting and his vehicle was parked inside the crime scene. We told him that he could not get his vehicle and he tried to cross the crime scene anyway so he could get his vehicle."
Drake was the Tide’s second-leading rusher in 2013, amassing more than 800 total yards and nine touchdowns as a backup to star T.J. Yeldon.
