(STATS) – Following a winless season in the Patriot League, Georgetown hopes the return of a veteran team will spark improvement during their 11-game 2017 schedule which was announced Thursday.
The Hoyas finished 3-8 overall, and 0-6 in league games, in coach Rob Sgarlata’s third season. But they return 15 starters this season.
Georgetown will open with a first-time matchup at Campbell on Sept. 9.
The Hoyas’ schedule include five home games at Cooper Field – non-league matchups against Marist (Sept. 16) and Harvard (Sept. 30) and Patriot League matchups against Fordham (Oct. 21), Lafayette (Nov. 4) and Colgate (Nov. 18).
