The Florida-Tennessee college football rivalry is one that hits home for many in the surrounding areas. These teams don’t like each other, and the fan bases follow suit.

So much that, Saturday afternoon, the Gainesville, Florida, police department posted a message to its official Twitter account saying that they would stop Tennessee’s buses in traffic if they received 1,000 retweets:

Whether they’d actually go through with it is a different story, but this shows you how much this rivalry means.

The Gators and Vols are scheduled to kick things off at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS. We’re hoping Tennessee’s buses make it in time.
