Taylor reclaimed starting spot with week four depth chart released

Although “demoted” to a third-string standing prior to the 14-9 victory over Kentucky, Kelvin Taylor reclaimed his starting spot with the release of the week four depth chart.

Taylor throat-slashing maneuver on a touchdown score against East Carolina led to the infamous sideline tirade by head coach Jim McElwain. This in turn pushed Taylor down the depth chart, surely as a disciplinary tactic.

Against Kentucky, Taylor ended up leading the Gators in carries with 16. He also rushed for 45 yards and had a touchdown on the ground.

Taylor is an integral player going forward for Florida. He's by far the most experienced option in the backfield. Taylor also acts as a leader within a relatively young offensive unit.
