Connor Cook’s time as a Michigan State student-athlete is over. For the next couple of weeks, he’s just an athlete.

The Spartans’ quarterback graduated Saturday.

He posted a short, heartfelt message on Instagram:

Cook has a chance to end his time at Michigan State on a serious high note.

Michigan State is set to play Alabama in the College Football Playoff (Cotton Bowl) at 8 p.m. ET Dec. 31 on ESPN.
