NEW YORK (AP) Zavier Turner hit seven 3-pointers and scored 26 points as Manhattan used a strong second half to top St. Francis Brooklyn 61-54 on Tuesday night.

A transfer from Ball State, Turner was 7 of 9 from beyond the arc and 9 of 14 overall from the field to continue a strong offensive streak. Turner entered the game averaging just under 19 points in his last eight games. Aside from Turner, Manhattan was 1 of 9 from distance.

Manhattan (4-8) trailed by a point at intermission, 28-27, but took control with a 6-0 run to start the second half. Turner knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers to make it 39-32 with under 16 minutes left in the game.

Glenn Sanabria scored 14 points to lead St. Francis (2-10), with Yunus Hopkinson adding another 13. The Terriers were a collective 17 of 55 from the field (30.9 percent), including 6 of 25 (24 percent) from beyond the arc.
