PEORIA, Ill. (AP) Matt Van Scyoc scored 19 points and Emondre Rickman's jumper with 28 seconds to play lifted Indiana State to a 56-54 win over Bradley on Wednesday night.

Bradley called timeout with 23 seconds to go and Donte Thomas missed his jumper with nine seconds remaining. Everett Clemons secured the rebound for Indiana State (9-16, 3-10 Missouri Valley) and passed to Laquarious Page, but Thomas stole the ball and dished to JoJo McGlaston whose last second 3-point heave was off the mark.

Thomas made a pair of free throws with 1:43 left to put Bradley up 54-51. Van Scyoc buried a 3 21 seconds later before Rickman's game winner.

Bradley (9-17, 4-9) led 38-27 at halftime but scored just 16 points after the break and finished the game on 17-for-55 shooting (31 percent). The Braves also shot just 14 for 28 from the free throw line.
