Nebraska-Wisconsin was great, but pre-game proposal was better

There were many reasons for Nebraska Cornhuskers fans to be happy Sunday.
For starters, their hoops team knocked off the No. 9 Wisconsin Badgers, a win that will definitely improve the Huskers' chances for an NCAA tournament bid.
Secondly, it happened on Senior Night, and what better way to send off graduating players?
But perhaps the biggest thrill for the crowd came before the game even began, when Nebraska senior and reserve guard Mike Peltz gave a speech and then proposed on the court to his girlfriend, Shelby.
In his speech (see the video below), Peltz acknowledges that he is about to violate a rule in which fans are encouraged to stay on their feet throughout the game.
"We all know the rules for tonight, and there's no sitting or kneeling of any kind," Peltz tells the crowd. "But I gotta make an exception real quick."
Peltz then gets down on his knee, pops the question, and the fans roar enthusiastically.
It's tough to hear Shelby's response above the din of the crowd. But since the two share a long embrace and a kiss before Peltz places the ring on her finger, we're deducing that Shelby answered in the affirmative.
And whaddya know? The ring seems to fit almost perfectly. Watch the adorable moment here:
