F Jacorey Williams won’t return to Arkansas after arrest

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) Arkansas coach Mike Anderson says forward Jacorey Williams will not return to the program following his arrest last month for allegedly using counterfeit money at three locations near campus.

Williams, a three-year letterman who averaged 4.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game last season, was one of three Razorbacks arrested in connection with a two-month investigation into counterfeit money. All-Southeastern Conference freshman team selection Anton Beard and junior transfer Dustin Thomas were the others and they remain suspended.

Anderson says ”members of our program carry a responsibility to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the expectations we have established for our student-athletes both on and off the court.”

Arkansas was 27-9 last season and lost in its second game of the NCAA Tournament.
