Arkansas Overcomes Dallas Moore and North Florida

Arkansas fell victim to North Florida’s Dallas Moore and his 34 points but overcame to win 91-76 at home and move on to 8-1.

It was a slow start for the Hogs. They came out 21 point favorites but went into the locker room at the half tied with North Florida at 44 points. The reason for the? Dallas Moore.

Moore would go on to score 34 points but the Razorbacks held in there to outlast the onslaught of buckets. Dusty Hannahs led the charge for the Hogs, scoring 17 points off the bench. Jaylen Barford had 14, while Macon and Kingsley both ended up with 13.

After the game, 3-point shooter Hannahs showed Moore respect with a tweet. Moore was quick to respond with his own show of respect towards Hannahs.

Dallas came into the game averaging 21 points. This game makes his 4th game of the year that he has cleared the 30 point mark. His most being against Edward Waters when he scored 37 points, putting tonight at his second highest game of the year.

Arkansas showed today that they could come back out after getting lit up on the scoreboard to pull off the win. I personally think the Razorbacks looked like they didn’t get up for this game. It happens all the time and to every team at some point. You play a team that doesn’t have the flashy name on the jersey thinking it’s going to be easy. That is until that no name school punches you in the mouth. W

You play a team that doesn’t have the flashy name on the jersey thinking it’s going to be easy. That is until that no name school punches you in the mouth. That’s exactly how good teams lose to teams they theoretically shouldn’t. The important part is that Arkansas responded to pull off the victory.

Arkansas moves on to take on Texas in exactly 7 days. Horns down. Tipoff for that game is on Saturday, December 17 at 2:30. UT-Arlington, who Arkansas beat 71-67, beat the Longhorns 72-61. This should be fun. Woo pig!
