After spending a handful of days out in Las Vegas watching most of the top high school players in the country, here's a look at those who stood out as the cream of the crop — regardless of age.

1. John Wall, 6-4, PG, Word of God (N.C.)

Wall might have made as much of a case for the top spot in the Class of 2009 as anyone else with his stellar play. He's got some of the same attributes of this year's top pick, Derrick Rose — size, speed, athleticism and a suspect outside shot. Wall pushes the ball extremely hard and does a great job of getting to the foul line with his speed and aggressiveness. Recruiting Buzz: Oklahoma State, Baylor, Oregon are mentioned the most.

2. Avery Bradley, 6-3, SG, Bellarmine (Wash.)

Bradley and teammate Abdul Gaddy were outstanding in Las Vegas and complement one another extremely well. Bradley is arguably the top perimeter defender in the country, but he is a versatile offensive player as well. Bradley was the top player on the court for the first half against Team Breakdown. Recruiting Buzz: Word is that Texas is in the best shape.

3. Abdul Gaddy, 6-3, PG, Bellarmine (Wash.)

Gaddy and Bradley teamed up to form one of the top backcourts in the country. Gaddy showed poise while running the Northwest Panthers team and also picked his spots when to put points on the board. The one-time Arizona commitment is now considering about a dozen schools. Recruiting Buzz: Memphis and Arizona appear to be in the driver's seat, but Gaddy still has 10 or so more schools on his list.

4. Tony Wroten, 6-4, SG, Seattle Garfield (Wash.)

Yet another Seattle product makes his way onto the list, but Wroten is a youngster and only a rising sophomore. Pencil in Wroten as a big-time talent because of his ability to score in a variety of ways. He went for 31 against Grassroots Canada this past week in Vegas and is an explosive athlete. Recruiting Situation: Too early to tell.

5. Michael Snaer, 6-4, SG, Rancho Verde (Calif.)

He's one of those guys who has gone a little bit under the radar, but the athletic wing can do it all. In one game we saw, Snaer went for 25 points, eight assists and a handful of rebounds. He can shoot it from deep, gets to the basket, and also has terrific court vision. Recruiting Buzz: Hard to tell, but UCLA, USC, Missouri, Florida State and others are in the mix.

6. Roger Franklin, 6-6, SF, Duncanville (Texas)

Kenny Boynton flashed explosive scoring ability in Las Vegas. (Scout.com / Special to FOXSports.com)

He's fun to watch because of his intensity and leadership. Franklin's tough, strong and has really improved his perimeter shot over the past few years. That's why many of the top programs in the country are now chasing him hard. Recruiting Buzz: Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Arizona, Indiana, Michigan State, Michigan.

7. Kenny Boynton, 6-2, G, American Heritage (Fla.)

There isn't a more capable scoring guard in the country than Boynton, who can shoot it from long distance and also break down defenders. He had 26 points in the championship game of the Reebok Big Time tournament and was also dominant in the second half in a come-from-behind win against Gaddy and Bradley's Northwest Panthers. Recruiting Buzz: Duke and Florida appear to be co-leaders.

8. Brandon Knight, 6-3, PG, Pine Crest (Fla.)

He and Boynton were nearly as impressive individually as Gaddy and Bradley, but the boys from the Sunshine State came out on top to win the Reebok title. Knight scored 22 points in the semifinals, but he did everything on the floor — setting up Boynton, rebounding and also playing solid defense. Recruiting Buzz: He's wide open and lists numerous programs.

9. Tristan Thompson, 6-9, F, St. Benedict's (N.J.)

The young Canadian led his Grassroots Canada squad to a somewhat surprising title in the adidas 64 tournament. Thompson, who has already committed to Texas, made some clutch free throws and finished with 19 points in the 88-79 win against the Compton Magic. Recruiting Buzz: Committed to Texas.

10. Derrick Favors, 6-9, C, South Atlanta (Ga.)

The Georgia big man wasn't quite as dominating throughout his time in Las Vegas as many expected, but he still produced on both ends of the court. He's in the mix with John Wall and others for the top spot in the senior class. Recruiting Buzz: Georgia, Georgia Tech and N.C. State are heavily in the mix.
