ATLANTA – SportSouth today announced the network will televise all 82 regular-season games of the Charlotte Bobcats 2013-14 NBA season.
SportSouth, now in its sixth year as the Bobcats’ regional television partner, will also televise an exhibition game against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, October 8 from Asheville, N.C.
Former Charlotte Hornets standout Dell Curry returns to the SportSouth broadcast team for his fifth year with play-by-play announcer Steve Martin, a broadcaster for more than 25 years, and courtside reporter Stephanie Ready, entering her 10th year with the Bobcats. In addition to game telecasts, Martin, Curry and Ready will co-host Bobcats LIVE expanded pre- and post-game coverage for all 82 game telecasts.
The Bobcats will tip off the 2013-14 campaign on Wednesday, Oct. 30th, at Houston, with full coverage beginning with Bobcats LIVE at 7:30 p.m. ET on SportSouth.
The team returns to Time Warner Cable Arena for their home opener on Friday, Nov. 1st, against Cleveland with coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET on SportSouth.
