Michelle Beadle calls out Stephen A. Smith’s take on domestic violence

All hell broke loose at ESPN on Friday afternoon.

It started on ESPN2’s "First Take," when co-host Stephen A. Smith gave his opinion on Ray Rice’s two-game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy after being arrested for domestic violence.

Smith began by explaining that men have no business putting their hands on a woman, but then took a left turn.

This commentary did not sit well with Smith’s ESPN colleague Michelle Beadle, who took to Twitter to blast Smith.

Smith then responded in a series of his own tweets.

Beadle did not seem impressed.

Smith then tried yet again to explain his stance with what appeared to be a very well-crafted PR statement.
