Mavericks owner Mark Cuban recently said that the NBA is seriously considering expanding the regular season schedule into the summer as a way to eliminate back-to-back games.

One person who does not support this plan in any way, shape or form is Spurs coach, Gregg Popovich.

"I think the season is long enough," Popovich told the San Antonio Express. "I will not come to work in July. If there’s a game in July, count me out."

When he was pressed on the matter and asked about passing up a chance to coach in the NBA Finals, Popovich held his ground.

"Count me out. Count me out. Life is too short."

Popovich was most likely kidding, but would you be shocked if he wasn’t?
