On Wednesday during NESN's broadcast of the Red Sox game, announcer Jerry Remy lost a tooth -- an unfortunate dental incident that provided about five solid minutes of entertaining on-air fodder for Remy and booth partner Don Orsillo.
The pair deciphered from a post in the tooth that it was a cap and not original Remy enamel. Remy still mourns the loss of the tooth and that he may have to spend a day off submitting to dental work. He also contemplates whether he should try to collect from the Tooth Fairy and whether he should allow Orsillo to attempt a repair.
Meanwhile, Cubs first basemen Mike Olt hits a two-run homer off of Brandon Workman. Have a watch and then look further below for another classic Remy-Orsillo booth adventure.
